I'm playing around with generative AI tools and stitching them together into visual stories. Here I took the first few sentences of Pride and Prejudice and made it into a video. The gen stack used for this one: - Anthropic Claude took the first chapter, generated the scenes and the individual prompts to to the image generator. - Ideogram took the prompts and generate the images - Luma took the images and animated them - for narration - VEED | AI Video Creation to stitch it together (Many of these choices are just what I happened to use for this one while exploring a bunch of things). Anyway honestly it was pretty messy and there is a ton of copy pasting between all of the tools, and even this little video with 3 scenes took me about an hour. There is a huge storytelling opportunity here for whoever can make this convenient. Who is building the first 100% AI-native movie maker?

Valora’s next patch is big, so we’ll break it down part by part. This first post is focused on progression and combat. Level cap is moving from 40 to 100, with a new XP curve made for a much longer grind. Combat is also getting deeper. 4 new spells have been added, bringing the total to 7: • Blink (lvl 40): teleport with cooldown • Frostbite (lvl 60): damage + MP removal • Blastwave (lvl 80): AoE damage • Cataclysm (lvl 100): heavy damage + AP removal Spell damage is no longer fixed. Spells now roll between a min and max value, adding a real chance factor to PvM and PvP. Spells can also be upgraded up to rank 5 using spell points earned while leveling, but players won’t be able to max everything. Different choices, different builds. This is only one part of the patch. Next posts will focus on the dungeon, new mobs, boss fight, drops, new high-level items, gear sets, bug fixes, and item stat changes. The dungeon boss will also drop new items, including the second Valdoria relic out of the 6 total relics. Full technical details will be added to the wiki when the patch is deployed.

The first part took place at night in this mysterious forest; this new part will allow you to explore the forest during the day. In the nighttime animation of the forest, there's only background music. Here, I've done the opposite: there's no music, only sound effects. The video itself is a kind of audio-visual discovery experience through this forest. Animation AIs are developing much faster than those for audio, even though audio is just as important. I'm excited for AIs to make progress in this area . I've made too many clips with inconsistent characters, so I'll need to do some storytelling again 😉👍 Sound Effects: A large part comes from the library integrated into the Capcut editing software.
