I'm playing around with generative AI tools and stitching them together into visual stories. Here I took the first few sentences of Pride and Prejudice and made it into a video. The gen stack used for this one: - Anthropic Claude took the first chapter, generated the scenes and the individual prompts to to the image generator. - Ideogram took the prompts and generate the images - Luma took the images and animated them - for narration - VEED | AI Video Creation to stitch it together (Many of these choices are just what I happened to use for this one while exploring a bunch of things). Anyway honestly it was pretty messy and there is a ton of copy pasting between all of the tools, and even this little video with 3 scenes took me about an hour. There is a huge storytelling opportunity here for whoever can make this convenient. Who is building the first 100% AI-native movie maker?

I've said this many times: if you take your wife abroad from Nigeria, make sure she avoids anything related to healthcare if you value your marriage. This is why me and my bro refused to marry Naija women. The women in the healthcare department are the ones corrupting the new ones. My friend, who refused to live with her husband after he bought a house in New York and still cheated, was also a nurse. I'm glad this is coming from a woman. I don't think Nigerian men know how ungrateful Nigerian women can be. Abroad, it's even worse than in Nigeria because the man has to work three jobs and take out loans, and the women will still leave you with all the debt. Leave your woman in Nigeria, take care of her from there, or bring her here and face the consequences. Pick your poison. If she doesn't have any kids, please let her move on. Find a woman over here.

Today, John Carpenter and longtime band mates Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies share a second track from ‘Cathedral’ - a project that marks Carpenter’s highly anticipated return to the realm of audio/visual narrative storytelling. Following previously shared track “Lord of The Underground”, today we share the grinding and dramatic track “The Ferryman”, along with imagery from the graphic novel. Johnson @iamtweezy904 The project spans a new album set for release August 7th on Sacred Bones Records alongside his first ever graphic novel, set for release August 4 via Storm King Comics. In a story rich with River Styx iconography, “The Ferryman” scores a scene in which we encounter the subterranean character of the same name. “I like that one because it really seems to feature all three of us in a special way,” Davies says. “It has interesting harmonies that Cody put together and John’s signature pad-style string parts. It’s more of an electronic metal track in a way, but we just wanted to make it as heavy and driving as possible.” Designed as a fully immersive project, ‘Cathedral’ functions as both soundtrack and narrative engine: each track aligns with a chapter of the graphic novel, with liner notes guiding listeners through the story.
