Last week, history was made at the California State Capitol. The PROTECT Act passed unanimously through the Assembly Committee, a powerful step toward justice. For the first time, survivors are not just being heard, they’re being seen and believed. This is what me and my nonprofit, Foundationra have been fighting for relentlessly. The PROTECT Act is the first and only bill that requires agent consent verification before any upload happens , stopping exploitation before the damage can even begin. No more Band-Aid bills. A doctor did not get informed consent from me and I ended up having a known side effect to the birth control I was on. It took me years to figure out how to fix it without the help of the medical system. This was before I even knew RFK Jr existed. So stop pretending it took him to erode that trust when there are millions of stories like mine.
