It’ll also support my transport, data, and editing costs so I can stay consistent and keep putting out better episodes. the accessories will help me sound and look more professional. Hey Korty, I’m Ire. I’m a small YouTuber from Lagos trying to build something that’s bigger than my resources right now. In August, I started my first real YouTube project, a 30-day challenge where I meet 100 strangers every day and ask them to subscribe. I began with 17 subscribers. In 12 filmed days, I’ve spoken to about 1,200 people one-on-one and converted roughly 1,150 of them into real human subscribers. No ads. Just conversations. That part is exciting, the hard part is everything after filming. I’ve been stuck in post-production for months because I don’t have the funds to hire an editor. I’m sitting on hours of footage that deserve to be shaped into the story it’s meant to be, but I simply don’t have the tools yet. The 200k or the equipment you’re giving out would change everything for me, it would let me hire an editor and finally release the first 12 days of the project, the part people don’t even know exists yet. This challenge is my foundation, my proof of concept, and I’ve fought for it with courage even when the resources weren’t there.
