I am set up in my tent for the night, with my poncho stretched out as best as I could manage in the dark. Ignore me shoving everything into my backpack so I can prop up my feet. First, thank you to everyone who continues to share my journey, donate to my battalion, and help me support my soldiers. Every share and every donation matters more than you know. But I also want to take a moment to say something, not for the person who zoomed in on a photograph of my face to mock the peach fuzz, but for every woman who might see something like that and suddenly feel ashamed of her own body. Hair on a woman’s body is normal. Peach fuzz is normal. Chin hairs are normal. Hormonal changes are normal. Bodies change after pregnancy, with age, with stress, and throughout our lives. Some women remove their facial hair, and some do not. I do not dermaplane, and I have no intention of starting because somebody on the internet decided my natural face was something to ridicule. I have darker hairs on my chin that I pluck. I am not embarrassed to say that. I am a human being. Women are constantly held to impossible beauty standards. Men experience it too. We are taught to inspect ourselves, criticize ourselves, and feel ashamed of the completely normal bodies we live in. Please do not allow cruel people to decide how you feel about yourself. Your body does not have to be flawless to be beautiful. You do not have to change yourself to deserve confidence, respect, or love. Love yourself. Take up space. Be human. #LoveYourself #StandWithUkraine

Zack Polanski's speech at the Together Alliance march "Looking at this crowd I see unity, I see solidarity, I see love. I see we are together" "Look around. Look at the people around you. We are intergenerational. We are white, we are black, we are Asian, we are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, non-faiths. We are community" "And together, we will win" "The tide is turning is turning. There have been dark times. I know people have been scared and have been afraid" "But days like this are here to send a message" "A message to Tommy Robinson. To Nigel Farage. To those appease who appease them" "When we turn up in our hundreds and our thousands, in our hundreds of thousands, we are unstoppable" "We see what's happening in the United States. Children snatched in the streets. People shot in cold blood. We see the war mongering. And the far right see that as their blueprint" "But people in this country have seen Reform UK for who they really are" "They would have dragged us into this illegal and unpopular war with Iran" "And we say today, this is not in our name, this is not our war" "And looking out today I see so many flags and so many slogans" "I know we are here for our migrant communities, for our trans communities, for the Palestinians, our struggles are interconnected, and we stand in solidarity" "There's three things we have to do" "First. We must not give an inch to the Daily Mail, to the rightwing hacks, to the people that spread hate and division. We will defeat you" "Second. We say to Reform UK, we know exactly who you are. You are climate denying, Trump-loving, NHS dismantling, corporate stooges" "Finally. We have to tackle the cost of living. It is time to lower people's bills. It is time to tax billionaires. Nationalise the water companies. Rent controls. Make sure we have the energy cap, so people aren't chosing between heating and eating" "More than anything, today is a march and it does not stop here. This is just the beginning" "Local elections are coming in just a few weeks time. We will defeat hate" "It's time to make hope normal again" *Audience erupts in cheer*

[Trans] #WINMETAWINxICONSIAM 🐰: This is my first time wearing a Thai costume at an event. I feel very honored and happy to be here. 😊 🎤: How’s the atmosphere? Is it as spectacular and wow as it looks? 🐰: It really is! It made me want to join the water play too! 💦 Honestly, I haven’t had a real Songkran moment like this in quite a while. 🥺🥹 🎤: What do you usually do during Songkran? 🐰: I love this festival because it’s when I get to spend the most time with my family. We usually travel abroad and rarely stay in Thailand. This year, I’m here for work and I feel so amazed and thrilled! Please come by #ICONSIAM, it has everything, and you’ll definitely enjoy yourself here! 😊❤️ 🎤: So today you really floated above the ground! 😅😆 🐰: Haha yes, I felt like I was floating like feet off the ground! 😁 I actually felt very shy. This is my first time since high school. Let’s just say today is like “a rehearsal” 🫣😄 🎤: Can you rate yourself in this outfit? 🐰: Oh, I don’t dare! 🥹 This is one of the most exciting events I’ve ever joined not because of anything else, but because of this costume! 😄 I feel shy because it’s still so new to me. 🎤: Then wear it more often! 🐰: It’s like a warm-up before filming! (#ScarletHeartTH) Oops, I spoiled something again! 😆 🎤: You can wear Thai costumes like this in many occasions like for a series… or maybe for other occasion… 🐰: What occasion is that? 🎤: Like…. (they wanted to tease him like at your own wedding 🥹but they changed to) like…when being a best man (groomsman) at a wedding! 😄😂 🐰: Hahaha, that’s possible too! 😃💚 WIN ICONSIAM SONGKRAN #winmetawin Winmetawin

When a Disco Song Makes the Whole Room Want to Dance🎶💃🕺 That was exactly how I felt watching Tina Charles perform “I Love to Love (But My Baby Loves to Dance)” on television on July 10, 1976. The first thing that caught my attention was not her outfit or the stage. It was Tina Charles herself. She appeared with a natural smile and a bright, energetic voice. She did not need complicated choreography to command attention. A little movement with the rhythm, a hand gesture, a smile, and the way she let her voice blend with the live band behind her were enough to bring the whole performance to life. And then I realized: the beauty of this performance is in its simplicity. This was music from a time when television performances did not depend so heavily on visual effects. Behind Tina Charles was a full band, with strings, horns, guitar and percussion. Together, they created a rich and lively Disco sound without overwhelming the singer. The rhythm of the song is clever too. It tells a rather funny story about love: the woman wants affection, closeness and romantic moments, while her boyfriend seems much more interested in dancing whenever the music starts. That contrast is what makes the song so charming. What I especially like is the way Tina Charles sings it. She does not turn the story into some dramatic love tragedy. Instead, she delivers it with playfulness and joy, almost as if she were saying: “Go ahead and dance, but I still want you to love me!” Perhaps that is what Disco did so well. It did not always need to deliver a profound message. Sometimes, the purpose of a song was simply to help people forget their worries for a few minutes and allow themselves to enjoy life. Watching these images from 1976, there is something else I appreciate: the people in the video do not seem to be trying to become perfect versions of themselves. They are simply performing, playing music and enjoying the moment. Today, we may have bigger stages, more sophisticated lighting and better technology. But that does not necessarily mean music carries more emotion. There are some things technology cannot create. A genuine smile. A real voice. A live band playing together. And that feeling of joy passing directly from the performer to the audience. That is what I think I see in this performance. “I Love to Love” is more than a Disco song from 1976. It is a reminder that sometimes the best music does not need to make us think too much. It simply needs to make us smile, get up and dance. If you could go back to one night in the 1970s, would you rather sit and listen to a song like this, or step onto the dance floor and join everyone else?

Okay… I kinda went viral yesterday 👀 For being a 10-year-old building a startup. Lots of love — and lots of questions. Funniest one: Are you even real? Or just a bot/fake account? 😂 So I made a video answering the top ones. Let’s go! 🎥 P.S. Some extra answers we missed in the video: • Are you seriously building a startup? Yes… and no. 😄 I’m not in it to make money (yet). It’s just a fun project for the summer holidays — and we’ll see where it goes! 🚀🌞 • Did you build the whole thing? Yes… and no (again 😄). I’m using a white-label partner, so it’s not a ton of work. That gives me more time to learn about startups and marketing — which is the fun part anyway! 🚀📚 • Who manages this account? Obviously, my dad — Laxman Papineni 👋 • How do you write so well? I don’t 😅 I use to share my thoughts, and @ChatGPTapp helps clean it up. Been building in public for 2 months now on LinkedIn. • Who’s helping you? My dad (a startup founder — I grew up watching him go from idea to acquisition). An 18-year-old friend who’s great at coding (and runs his own startup). A few of Dad’s friends. And a lot of kind people from LinkedIn. • How did you get this idea? Last spring, I did cold calling in public on LinkedIn with my dad (posting some of those links below). That’s when I learned spam labels are a big reason cold call connect rates drop. It felt like a simple fix with the right partnership — so I jumped in! 🚀 Follow me Srihan👦11 yo in SaaS to follow my journey. Got more questions? Drop them below! ⬇️

‼️🚨 WELCOME TO THE NEW AMERICA! 🇺🇸 ⚠️ COMING SOON! 💀 Where your silence has been weaponized. And your compliance is the currency of your own extinction. 🧵👇 YOU don’t need a history book to know we lost something. YOU can feel it. In your bones. In your breath. In that quiet ache you carry when the screen goes dark and you finally admit to yourself that nothing feels real anymore. That’s not depression. That’s your soul trying to scream through the noise. Because deep down, you know what I’m about to say is true: You were born into a lie so massive, so well designed, you defended it before you ever questioned it. You were trained to obey before you could even speak. Taught to smile at the leash because it came with likes and upgrades. And now? You’re trapped in a country that looks like freedom but moves like a prison. The Social Credit System you heard about in China? It’s here. Just hidden under different names. Every purchase. Every click. Every silence. Scored. Profiled. Analyzed. Not for your benefit; but for your obedience. And the worst part? They never had to use force. You volunteered. You downloaded the cage. You gave it your face, your fingerprint, your voice. And you did it for convenience. Not because you were stupid. Because you were tired. Because you were just trying to survive. Because you just wanted to feel safe for one more day in a world that keeps deleting pieces of your humanity every time you speak out. But I see you. I see the exhaustion behind your smile. The fear in your scroll. The grief you don’t talk about because you think no one would understand. I understand. Because I’ve felt it too; that sinking feeling that somehow, we’re all dying before we ever get to live. But here’s the truth they hope you never remember: You are not crazy. You are not broken. You are not alone. You are waking up in the middle of a war they said didn’t exist. And your pain? It’s not weakness. It’s proof you haven’t been fully conquered. That ache you feel when reading this? That’s the last living part of you remembering what freedom feels like. LIKE. SHARE. FOLLOW. Not for me. For the version of you that still believes you were born for something more than silent slavery behind a shiny screen. Let this post be the line in the sand. The moment your heart finally said: ENOUGH. You are not here to behave. You are here to remember. And once you do; nothing can stop you. 🧵 Continued Below 👇

Knock off the negative self talk! Changing the words you say to yourself literally rebuild your brain in ways that help you or hurt you. Here's the science of one of the words you say to yourself matter: When you use criticizing language in your internal voice, your brain picks up on that and turns on the parts that are related to defending you from physical danger. Your brain hears your mind saying something harmful, and assumes that you're under attack. This affects your physiology, keeps you in a fight or flight response, and elevates your blood pressure and cortisol levels. In other words, when you attack yourself internally, your body gets the message and you literally feel like you're at war. On the other hand, research shows that when you use compassionate language to yourself, you don't magically make all your problems go away. What happens is that your brain area is related to problem-solving, calmness, and feeling hopeful, come alive. This set the filters in your reticular activating system to begin to look for possibility and not danger. The first commandment of self brain surgery is that I must relentlessly refuse to participate in my own demise. Using harmful words to yourself is literally committing malpractice against your own brain and your own life. So, and I say this with love, knock it off. Be kind to yourself. In a world full of difficulties, you deserve at least one ally. And your brain needs to hear encouraging language so I can do a better job of showing you a path forward instead of keeping you stuck. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God has a plan to give you hope and the future. Don't hinder his ability to do that by blocking your brain from being able to see what might already be there. Send this to a friend who needs an ally. Save this for the next time you find yourself feeling afraid. And follow me for connections between neuroscience and scripture every day that will help you flourish in your life. Click the link in my bio to learn more about my New York Times. Rick Rubin: "I've met very few billionaires who are happy" "I don't look at the outside very much. I look inward. I try to focus on what do I feel, what am I seeing, in the hopes that by sharing what's going on in me, it resonates with someone else. I can't predict what someone else would like. And I don't think anybody can. So if I'm authentically true to myself, that's the best chance of someone else liking something." Rubin explains the paradox of acceptance: "People want to be accepted. And I'm suggesting that the best way to be accepted is to be yourself. It's not to change yourself to what someone else thinks. First of all, you don't really know what someone else thinks. And if you're not genuine to yourself, nothing is there. It's just a projection or a mask. It's not true." On what makes something interesting: "In a sea of information, the more yours is personal, the more it's not like hers or his or theirs, the more it's yours. If we're all thinking the same thing, it's boring. Why would we make anything if everyone thinks the same thing? What makes us interesting are the differences. Even the imperfections. The imperfections are what make us human." Rubin shares what captures his attention: "There's so much middle of the road, and it doesn't interest me. I want it because it's louder, quieter, softer, harder. It's pushing some boundary. That's why I take notice. It's not more of the same. It's the one that makes you stop and think: did I really hear that? Did I really see that? What's going on here?" On what success actually means: "If I like it, that doesn't mean anything. That's what people think. Just because I like it doesn't give it any value. But as an artist, if you like it, that's all of the value. That's the success. It comes when you say, 'I like this enough for other people to see it.' Not 'other people like it, so it's successful.' That doesn't mean anything. Because other people liking it is out of your control. All that's in your control is making the thing to the best of your ability." Rubin reframes what greatness means: "I came to realize recently, it's all an offering to God. And if you're making an offering to God, you're not thinking about the budget, or hoping this segment of the audience is going to like it. We don't think like that. It's a higher vibration. We're making the best we can make, to the best of our ability, out of love and devotion. That's what it is. There is no higher form." On criticism and reviews: "Most of the artists I work with don't read any criticism or reviews, good or bad. The ones who are the strongest in who they are can even read a terrible review and laugh at it. Because when someone gives you criticism, it's telling you as much about who they are as what you've made." Rubin explains the only real competition: "The idea of the Oscars or the Grammys, where we're saying which album is better than another, it doesn't make any sense to me. Because it's always apples and oranges. The only people we can honestly compete with is ourselves. Is this the best I can make today? Have I gone further than I've gone before? That's all we can do. That's the only competition that makes sense." On the obsession required for mastery: "Many of the artists that are great at what they do are great for one reason: they fall in love with this thing, and they just want to know everything they could possibly learn about it. I'm working on a documentary project with comedians now. One of the things they talk about is their commitment; when other people are going out on the weekend, they're going to perform every night they possibly can. For a period of 10 years. Having bad performances. Having people not like what they do. Banging their head against the wall. But that obsession with breaking through, and when I say breaking through, I don't mean to the audience. I mean with themselves." Rubin shares a hard truth about dreams and jobs: "Maybe your purpose in life isn't related to your job. Maybe your job is your job, and the job is the thing that supports you. And then the rest of your waking hours are devoted to your purpose. Don't let following your dreams undermine your ability to support yourself. If you decide 'I want to be a comedian and I'm putting all my eggs in the comedian basket', the pressure of having to support yourself will change you as a comedian. Not for the better. You want the stability of being able to take care of yourself in the world to be free to do whatever your passion is." He challenges the mythology of genius: "There's a mythology that the people who make things that we love are special people, the people on Mount Olympus, magic people who are geniuses. And then there's the rest of us. That's not the case. We're all just people. We're all doing our best. We're all good at some things, not good at other things. We're humans. And sometimes we find a way to make something beautiful." Rubin shares his most vulnerable moment: "The call came: 'How do you feel? You have the number one album in the country.' And I remember saying, 'I've never been more unhappy in my life.' We mistakenly think some kind of outward success is going to change something in us. And it does not. It may make life more comfortable. But it doesn't change who we are. Any hole in ourselves that we're hoping to fill does not get filled." He explains why successful people are often unhappy: "If you spend 20 years of your life working towards a goal that's going to solve everything, and then you finally achieve what you've been trying to do for 20 years, and nothing changes, that's when you get hopeless. It's not uncommon to see very successful artists who are very unhappy. I'm sure you've met many very successful business people. Billionaires. Very few of them are happy. Very few. They've accomplished their dreams and are unhappy. Because we don't know what we want. We're trying to fill something that maybe can't be filled through material or public success. It's something else. Some internal thing." Rubin closes with this: "Don't do things just because you think you're going to get something for it. That's not why we do things. Do what's interesting to you. Follow what's interesting. Don't worry about the outcome. We can never predict the outcome. Follow your own inner guide. It might not make sense to anyone else. It might not even make sense to us. And that's okay. The wisest thing we can do is know enough to know we don't know. Anytime you think 'I know how it is' your world just got a lot smaller."

Wow. Here’s Robert De Niro’s full statement about how Donald Trump should NEVER be president again: “I’ve spent a lot of time studying bad men. I’ve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty. Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him, I don’t see a bad man. Truly. I see an evil one. Over the years, I’ve met gangsters here and there. This guy tries to be one, but he can’t quite pull it off. There’s such a thing as “honor among thieves.” Yes, even criminals usually have a sense of right and wrong. Whether they do the right thing or not is a different story — but — they have a moral code, however warped. Donald Trump does not. He’s a wannabe tough guy with no morals or ethics. No sense of right or wrong. No regard for anyone but himself — not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his “friends.” He has contempt for all of them. We New Yorkers got to know him over the years that he poisoned the atmosphere and littered our city with monuments to his ego. We knew first hand that this was someone who should never be considered for leadership. We tried to warn the world in 2016. The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination. Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world. We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags. The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior. That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse. Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously. So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America: This is our last chance. Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator. And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided. So what do we do about it? I know I’m preaching to the choir here. What we’re doing today is valuable, but we have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls. We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House. They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice. Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them. Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect. Let’s not talk about “democracy.” “Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it. Let’s talk about right and wrong. Let’s talk about humanity. Let’s talk about kindness. Security for our world. Safety for our families. Decency. Let’s welcome them back. We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump, and fulfill the mission of this “Stop Trump Summit.”

[trans] WWD THAILAND IG POST ⚫️: ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻 🐰: Hi, I’m Win. Hi WWD pls come in 😊 ⚫️: What do you like most about coming to Seoul? 🐰: What I like the most... when I come to Seoul, I think of shopping. I feel like there are so many things to shop for here. 🛍️ ⚫️: After traveling continuously without a break, how do you recharge your energy? 🐰: That's a good question. I actually want everyone to share how they recharge their energy when they fly a lot too. But for me, it's sleeping 🛌 . I try to save up as much time to sleep as possible, and then... eating. Eating delicious food. 😋 ⚫️: What are you particularly into right now? 🐰: Actually, right now, I feel like I want to go learn scuba diving 🤿 . It's one of those things... at first, I was someone who was really afraid of diving because I was afraid of fish 😖🐠 I felt like I didn't want to go down and have fish constantly nipping at me. 😅But when I asked people who go diving, they said that the fish don't bother us at all when we dive. So, I felt like I wanted to try it out too, because it would be a moment where I could be with myself 🧘 ⚫️: If “Nong Win” (your younger version) saw you tonight, what would he say? 🐰: “Nong Win”... when he sees... “Phi Win”...oh it's correct 😆. Yeah, he... he’d probably be like, "Oh, today you're a Phi now. Behave yourself a little." 😄 ⚫️: How would you describe your look tonight? 🐰: For tonight's look, I tried to make it match the watch as much as possible, while still being able to go to a formal event, and go to a party as well. So it came out in the look of a brown corduroy jacket but inside, I didn't wear a shirt because that would be too formal, so I chose a tank top instead. And then white pants to match the strap of our watch. ✨ ⚫️: What do you like in particular about this watch model? 🐰: I think... this model is actually a model that you'll see has a strap that's like a... a rubber strap, right? Not a steel strap. I think it can... it's suitable for people who are active and like doing activities, going outside, going on adventures. If you get sweaty or anything like that, it's fine because it can resist water very well. And I think it looks sporty, looks suitable for an... adventurous line. You can go scuba diving with this model too. 😊 ⚫️: What do you think you will see at the party tonight? 🐰: I think I should be able to see beautiful watches, and get to meet more people in the watch industry, and meet with designers who collaborated as well. 💚 📌 AUDEMARS PIGUET X WIN #AudemarsPiguet #RoyalOakConcept #APxYV #AudemarsPiguetxWin #winmetawin #WWDThailand
