ALT TEXT: Open on a shot of Rand, inside Falme, a tan hood over his head and his heron-mark blade sheathed on his back as fiery orange and black weaves of the One Power wrap around him. A man’s voice says, “Critics are raving about The Wheel of Time.” We then cut to a quick shot of High Lord Turak and his soldiers. We cut to an aerial shot of a legion of soldiers on horseback riding through the desert, obscured by white smoke. Over this shot, large text reads, “The must-watch fantasy series of the year. - Vulture, Sean T. Collins.” We get a quick close-up of armored horses running, then we cut to a wide shot of the Falme coast. Seanchan ships are anchored in the water on the left, and Falme’s tallest tower stands near the coastline on the right. Over this shot, we see more text that reads, “On the level of Game of Thrones. - Decider, Meghan O’Keefe” We then see shots of Lan and Seanchan soldiers on a beach, before cutting to a wide shot of the edge of a plateau in the middle of a vast desert. Over this shot, large text reads, “ One of the best episodes of television I’ve seen in years. - Entertainment Weekly” We then see Lanfear and Rand approaching her. Rand asks, “What happened to her? Tell me!” We then cut to an aerial shot of a Waygate jutting from the shore of a large beach, Rand and Lan walking away from it. Text over this shot reads, “Season 2 has done the impossible… A binge-worthy epic. - InsideHook, Alex Lauer” We then see shots of Moiraine channeling weaves of fire that snake towards the Seanchan ships off the coast of Falme. Over these shots, a series of quotes appear: “Magnificent - Vulture, Sean T. Collins” “Addictive - Decider, Meghan O’Keefe” “Fist pumping - Collider, Carly Lane” “Edge of our seat - The Review Geek, Sarah Almeida” “A rare feat - InsideHook, Alex Lauer” “Action Packed - Den of Geek, Michael Ahr” “Top Tier - Winter is Coming, Daniel Roman” We see Lady Suroth lean forward in her chair, concerned, as we hear Moiraine say, “The Last Battle's coming.” Then a shot of fiery weaves of the One Power moving towards the fleet of Seanchan ships. This cuts to a wide shot of the tower in Falme, a dragon made of fire wrapped around it, perched on top, screaming. We cut to Moiraine as she says, “That is the only thing that matters.” A quick cut to black, then we see Egwene standing atop the tower in Falme, channeling golden weaves of the One Power that swirl around her. We then see Lanfear in the Foregate, fiery weaves of the One Power wrapped around her forearms and hands, as she channels the One Power to create a large explosion. This cuts to Egwene, at the top of the tower on Falme, channeling a shield of the One Power. Over this, large text slams on, reading, “Watch all episodes now.” The logo for The Wheel of Time appears over black, with the words “Watch Now” underneath, which is all replaced by the Prime Video logo.

Meh...if Wokes want a fantasy series why don't they write a Woke story, rather than counterfeiting an awesome story for co-opt purposes.

Because they haven’t read the books…

Enjoyed it very much and am watching it again with my kids. It is very good. I'm a book reader.

Can the writers, producers, and Rafe Judkins stop talking about this being a show true to the heart of the world Robert Jordan wrote, cause it is objectively not.

Absolute garbage, this show is a testament of how a major studio has no regard for the story. If this was original content, it would be mid at best. There are good aspects sonewhere im sure, but the hubris to do this to a major fantasy beloved by millions is so wrong.

"On the level of Game of Thrones" I disagree. Not yet there. But almost. Too many scenes that could have been an epic battle but was just reduce to mediocrity because it did not go to the climax or they were always cut short. Maybe in Season 3 we can have epic battles.

Because they haven’t read the books, apparently

Need to watch it all again. Hmm, I've got no plans this weekend...

It’s no where near the same level of GoT.
