I still train like I’m competing but I’m not. I never did this with winning as my goal. I just love lifting and pushing my body. Same reason I love sprints and Tabata. Same reason I boxed. God gave us this body to use it, and using it just happens to keep us from being old and weak. I choose to just be old. 😂

My mom used to make ground beef & eggs like this for dinner when I was young. She called it "country breakfast." I'm using locally raised ground buffalo and locally raised duck eggs. I will always get the, "That meat is too lean," comment. But, I know what my body needs, and I know how my body feels. Less dietary fat = more stored body fat burned for energy. Higher dietary fat = less stored body fat burned for energy. If I eat too lean for too long, my body will burn stored fat but I'll also start to lose energy. There's always a nice middle ground. A place where I'm burning stored fat but also not losing energy. I'm the only one who knows where that middle ground is for my body. I eat according to my body. Not how someone else tells me I "should" eat.
