People won't admit it now, but a large number of people that make fun of me for believing in God made Anthony Fauci their god a few years back. They had signs in their yards of him. Bobble heads on their desks. They believed everything he said no matter how absurd it sounded or how little objective sense it made. If Fauci would have told these people they needed to eat their dog's poop to cure corona virus they would have. My theory: We all have a GIANT HOLE in our soul that only GOD can fill. When you remove God, (because you want to be your own god) you try & replace Him with: -Money -Status -Politics -Science -Dopamine Anything desperately trying to fill that GIANT VOID you know is missing. The confusion about whether former Eagles OC, Kevin Patullo, was fired or not isn't that confusing. They never used the word fired. In short, they care about him, value what he has done for the organization, and are allowing him to weigh his options and decide if he wants to come back in a different role. Philadelphia, & their entire front office, are a class org. They value people, respect them, and treat them right. They also know what he has meant to their 2 Super Bowls runs, despite not working out at OC. The players who praised him all season and after the wild-card loss do so with sincerity. It is not lip service or professionalism. They genuinely respect him. Almost every player was asked about him after their loss, nobody wavered in their praise for him.
