Mars rover videos aren’t shot like normal videos—they’re made by stitching together individual images taken by the rover’s cameras. These photos are sent back to Earth, where NASA aligns and processes them into animations or timelapses. Some newer videos even include real sounds, thanks to microphones on rovers like Perseverance
