As seen during the COVID oxygen cylinder crisis, hoarders stockpile essential goods and restrict supply, creating artificial shortages that fuel public panic. The same hoarders then exploit people’s fear and uncertainty by selling those goods through the black market at inflated prices. That is why prompt and harsh legal action is crucial. The UP admin seems to have anticipated this early and moved quickly. CM Yogi Adityanath has given clear directions to raid agencies that deny LPG availability while diverting cylinders to the black market and to file FIRs. Just yesterday, UP Police raided a local politician, Abdul Rehan, in Hapur and seized 55 cylinders. Two days ago, they also recovered 500 stolen LPG cylinders from Jhansi. Such enforcement helps create deterrence among potential hoarders and black-marketeers. I hope similar enforcement is adopted in other states as well.

Ottawa has always been the biggest impediment to Canada's prosperity. Donald Trump exposed the mismanagement & cracks within our country. We have: -the 3rd largest oil reserves, but we have Bill C69 and we kill/stall projects -3rd largest in forests but can't get a deal with the US -1st in potash reserves/production, but investments are going to the US -3rd in uranium reserves but have regulatory paralysis -3rd in diamond production, export raw diamonds & lose downstream jobs -7th gold mine reserves, but our government sold reserves & doesn't own a single ounce ...the list goes on and on and on. It took the capture of a dictator for the Liberals to finally wake up and realize how much worse it can get. Donald Trump didn't create a housing, immigration or crime crisis. Nor did he stall our potential to be the wealthiest & lowest tax country on earth. He exposed our government failures. And like I warned you all about the consequences of oil flowing from Venezuela, and I was told, "it's not going to happen so fast", Trump just announced that Venezuela will be turning over 30-50 million barrels of oil to the US. And yes, it's "not much" compared to what Canada sends them in a month. But this is just the start. He announced this within days of Maduro's capture. That's the speed that Canada needs to operate in. If we stall pipelines, oil & gas projects and do not move at speeds never seen before, it'll get much worse for Canada and our economy.
