Senator John Fetterman just TORCHED his own party for refusing to acknowledge the success of President Trump’s Maduro raid. And he did it by pointing out facts Democrats really don’t want to talk about, calling out Schumer and Biden directly. FETTERMAN: “I don’t know why we can’t just acknowledge...

This will go down as one of Senator Fetterman’s greatest media appearances. For three straight minutes, he hammered the left-wing media machine for spinning the Iran conflict — and when Kaitlan Collins tried to cut him off, he called her out right to her face: “You don’t have to cut me off here!” FETTERMAN: “And I would remind everybody listening right now, the United States never, EVER targets civilians.” “Iran does, you know, and including their own citizens. And they massacred that 35,000 of them just a couple of weeks ago.” [Collins tried to interrupt] FETTERMAN: “And the left…please! Please!” “The left media is much more angry, you know, about or talking about this hospital. And it is a tragedy. But they didn’t seem to be as concerned about the Iranians massacring tens of thousands of their young people just a couple of weeks ago, too.” “So we agree on many parts of it, but we both disagree…I mean, we all disagree that it’s I think it’s a good thing. And every single other Democrat in the caucus caused it all kinds of in negative terms.” Collins seemed shocked. She took a moment to gather her thoughts. COLLINS: “Uh…we did cover the protests in Iran extensively here at CNN.” “Obviously they said a lot about how internally people felt about the regime. But just to—” FETTERMAN: “Well, I don’t watch so I don’t know, but I’m talking about other left media.” COLLINS: “I understand…I just wanted to make that clear to…to…our viewers that we did cover that.” “But just to be clear, you do believe if the United States was responsible, that the Pentagon should acknowledge that they accidentally hit a girl’s school?” FETTERMAN: “Yeah, I’ve said that.” “I said it seems that they’ve already acknowledging all those things. I think largely that letter, it was rendered moot at this point after what’s already come out.” “And I don’t know what your network talked about. But what I’m saying is that, you know, whether like it’s the New York Times, they’re making it more and more trying to convince America that this, this has been a disaster or things are out of control.” “And that’s just categorically not true on that.” COLLINS: “I just think it deserves coverage, obviously given the number of children who were killed as a result of it, it obviously matters what happened there.” “We’ll see what the Pentagon investigation says.” Collins immediately tried to end the segment. COLLINS: “Senator John Fetterman, I appreciate your time tonight. Thank you for joining us. As always here.” FETTERMAN: “Oh, now, you don’t have to cut me off here.” [Fetterman chuckles] He forced Collins to let him continue his message. The frustrated look on her face told the whole story. COLLINS: “Go ahead Senator, we’re not cutting you off.” FETTERMAN: “Well, you you said something that it’s like it’s appropriate to to cover it.” “It is appropriate to cover it. You know, it’s a tragedy. Absolutely. You know and now if we’re on that, it’s entirely appropriate for you to apologize.” “If you’re implying that I don’t think it’s wrong to cover it, that’s just not true.” “Yes it’s being covered. I just want to clarify that it just seemed like a, like a short shut off there to imply that I didn’t want to carry that or I think it’s entirely appropriate to talk about it.” COLLINS: “Yeah. I’m not implying that. I just wanted to clarify why we’re covering it. For everyone who’s watching. Senator, thank you, I do always appreciate hearing your thoughts.” FETTERMAN: [Annoyed tone] “Yeah…thank you...” And…scene.

CNN’s Kaitlan Collins tried to trap Senator Fetterman over his break from Democrats on supporting the Iran operation — but he didn’t bite. Instead, he delivered a reality check on Democrat hypocrisy. COLLINS: “Some of your Democratic colleagues say that they don’t think the administration has a clear end game in Iran.” “Do you have concerns about how they know when to be done with Iran?” FETTERMAN: “Yeah, I mean I’m very much aware that I’m the only Democrat in the Senate that supports this operation.” “And I’m going to continue to do that.” “And I would remind all of your viewers, whether it was Hillary Clinton when she was running for president or Kamala Harris when she was running just in 24.” “In fact, she actually identified Iran as her top concern you know, she had she called Iran a grave danger.” “And now everyone, every single Democrat agrees that they can never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear bomb.” “And now Donald Trump has done that, made that virtually impossible to achieve their nuclear weapons, and they’ve effectively broke the entire Iranian military apparatus.” “I don’t know why we as Democrats, if we had all those kinds of goals and those kinds of concerns, and now that he’s achieved that, why now we only can criticize that?” “Or they could always make it seem like it’s been a failure, or things are out of control.” “That’s just categorically not true. And I think my hard red line, you know, boots on the ground, that’s when I would get concerned if they start to talk about boots on the ground.” “And now I think even Secretary Hegseth has even said no, no nation building, no nation building.” “No one wants to be a part of that. That was never a part of this missions this far.” “When every single Democrat is, you know, have to sit back and witness Trump developing these kinds of situation or every single Democrat want wanted those things.” “Now, I’m not sure why they can’t just acknowledge that that’s been a positive outcome whether that’s just politics.” “For me it’s just been nothing more than a choice of country over what parts of the base would demand to to condemn or pretend that it’s a terrible situation.”

CNN’s Kate Bolduan tried to trap Senator Fetterman with a gotcha question on Iran — but he ended up giving an answer she wasn’t expecting. The interview quickly unraveled as Fetterman’s responses REFUSED to fit the network’s narrative. CNN ENDED the segment while Fetterman was still speaking. BOLDUAN: “The Israeli defense minister posted today that…every leader appointed by the Iranian regime will be an unequivocal target for elimination.” “That’s going forward. So that is a US goal going forward?” FETTERMAN: “Yeah just keep killing, killing them until they’re until they’re gone.” “I mean, absolutely. I saw that I’ve read that, that they’re going to target who they ever elect to be their next leader and kill them. Absolutely.” “I fully support it. So that’s that’s what’s entirely appropriate.” “Now they have to decide, are we going to continue for [to] choose now peace and or now we’re going to try to destroy Israel. They really don’t have those capabilities.” “At this point, it’s just empty rhetoric because we all know that Iran is [isn’t] able to really project the kinds of damage.” Bolduan was not happy and fired back: BOLDUAN: “So then who who decides what leader should lead Iran then? If you think that the United States should take part in taking out every leader going forward, if it doesn’t meet the right measure.” Fetterman remained unfazed. FETTERMAN: “Well I mean, hey I’m sorry, I absolutely support killing the leadership of the Iranian [regime]. Absolutely, I absolutely support that.” “I think that’s entirely appropriate until hopefully they’ll pick someone that realizes that they need to live and coexist in peace in the region and stop trying to destroy Israel and destabilize the region.” Bolduan’s frustration was visible as she tried to wrap up: BOLDUAN: “Senator John Fetterman, thank you for your time.” But Fetterman wasn’t done. FETTERMAN: “That’s another thing Democrats say; no one will mourn the death of the Ayatollah. Well, yeah so that that’s just another way saying it’s a good thing that he’s been killed right?” “I’ll call it what it is, I won’t say, well, I won’t weep for him, you know, just call it what it is it’s like it’s a good thing that he’s been erased now and then if they pick another one that wants to do the same thing, erase them too.” Bolduan seemed flustered and issued a clarification before cutting Fetterman off completely. BOLDUAN: “I hear your point. But I have had…every Democrat who’s been on this show that I’ve heard is having two thoughts in their head at once, which is it is good to have the Ayatollah gone, but they do not agree and do not understand the justification of going in now with this war at this moment.” “That is the distinction I’ve heard from other Democrats on the show, but we are now out of time Senator, thank you for your time.” The camera cut away from Fetterman as he was still speaking.

Cuomo got more than he bargained for tonight. He thought he could corner Senator Fetterman over the Venezuelan strikes, but instead, he got shut down...calmly, factually, and on the record. Cuomo pressed Fetterman on why he broke with his party and refused to back the War Powers Resolution. Fetterman offered Cuomo a gentle reminder that instantly nuked his entire argument. CUOMO: “Senator, why were you not willing to go along with Senator Rand Paul…and other Democrats with his War Powers Resolution to require the president to come and make a show to the Congress before continuing with unilateral military plans and actions?” FETTERMAN: “I think what’s happening right now is consistent. I think that to me it’s not unreasonable to compare that to what would president Obama’s been doing during his presidency and he was using drone hits and he took out thousands of people and terrorists.” “Of course, if I was in the Senate that time, I would have supported those as well too.” “You know, that’s the president and you do have some kind of discretion and kinds of things.” “Now, I don’t think anyone in the Senate with support like a full on land invasion, or putting American boots in Venezuela. But currently at right now, that’s not what’s happening.” “And there is extensive corporation with nations in the region. And these are not just random strikes. They know exactly that it’s in and that’s not…and again, it’s been very clear that they decline on often kinds of boats.” “When they can’t be absolutely sure exactly what’s on it and who’s on it, including no women and children or anything.”
