Senator Johnson’s right—symbolic cuts are a scam. Temporary reductions let D.C. reinstate bloated programs later. Real reform? Slash entire agencies, eliminate redundant bureaucracy, and lock in permanent spending rollbacks. The GOP’s “cuts” are performative theater—like trimming a weed instead of pulling it by the roots. Until Congress guts Medicaid fraud, overpaid pensions, and foreign aid slush funds, they’re just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Taxpayers see through the act: either deliver structural change or get out of the way.

@RonJohnsonWI 💯. I want to primary every Republican who doesn’t understand this. We could have a golden age if we can do what’s right

@RonJohnsonWI I 100% agree with this. If the Senate doesn't act, there is no real reason to take Republicans financial complaints seriously.

@RonJohnsonWI We are blowing it, not codifying the DOGE cuts is asinine on its face. Do better @GOP

@RonJohnsonWI D.C. has no real appetite for austerity because no one’s career depends on balance sheets. This is why Bitcoin matters. This is why real-world asset tokenization matters. Because at some point, capital is going to stop trusting the currency and legacy system altogether.

@RonJohnsonWI For balance, here's what Stephen Miller is saying.

@RonJohnsonWI Great interview that exposes the truth about cuts. The incentives are not aligned for congress to cut spending. Everyone knows someone who eats off the government. When that someone gets laid off, it’s a crisis for them. We are a middle-aged fat person being told to get healthy

@RonJohnsonWI He’s right. We elected the coalition that was doge to cut government dramatically, update the tech systems for more transparency and to eliminate fraud and waste and no wars. None of that is happening now.
