What did they expect? - a slap on the hand and a 'don't do it again' reprimand?

"We thought we could murder and rape 2000 civilians at a concert for peace and there wouldn't be consequences. My bad."

now, anyone thinking in the lines of another attack like October 7th, will think hard and well. because it is not just about acting, but about consequences.

They knew there would be a response and that is what they wanted. Only didn’t realize it would be at this scale. But you started something you can’t finish!! Hopefully this will be the end of Hamas in Palestine.

🚨 Gaza Technocratic Committee Official Barred From Entering Gaza Over Past Conviction, Hamas Leader Tells AJ Mubasher Speaking to Al Jazeera Mubasher, Senior Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzouk said Hamas raised objections to two individuals proposed for the new technocratic committee (NCAG): one who had made what he described as inappropriate public statements and was subsequently removed from contention for the committee, and another who he said has documented charges, a prior court ruling, and is accused of involvement in assassinations of Islamic Jihad members. Abu Marzouk did not name either individual, but with the second case was referring to the senior Palestinian Authority security figure designated to oversee Gaza’s internal security - Sami Nasman. He said the objections were conveyed through Egyptian mediation and that Egypt complied: the first name was removed from contention for the committee, while the other was barred from entering Gaza and according to Abu Marzouk is being replaced. Egypt has not publicly confirmed the account. Abu Marzouk said that aside from these cases, the committee is welcome to enter Gaza and begin its work. He said the handover process would take place with Gaza’s existing administrative apparatus, which he said is ready, and that Hamas would provide security and protection to any committee entering to serve the population. Senior Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzouk said no political or administrative body can enter or operate in Gaza without coordination with Hamas. (More on Sami Nasman in linked post below)
