SpaceX is building a giant air separation plant next to Starbase. Buying rocket propellant ingredients by the truckload gets old when you plan to launch all the time. The plant will make liquid oxygen and nitrogen on-site. Less tanker traffic. Less waiting. More Starship operations. Classic SpaceX: Build the rocket. Then build the factory next door that boosts launches. SpaceX / Writer: Annette, Designer: Janné

Electra has high fuel efficiency to perform stationkeeping and long-duration maneuvers that preserve chemical propellant for the rapid maneuvers that define the Mira spacecraft. The result is greater operational flexibility and more mission capability from a single spacecraft. Next milestone: flight. 🚀 Electra will be demonstrated in space on the GEO Express 1 mission aboard Caravan 1.

MethaneSAT has successfully separated from the SpaceX #Falcon9! We're in orbit 🌌 The spacecraft will now boot up its computer and 'detumble', using its actuators to slow down the spinning caused by the deployment.

Our Blue Ghost Mission 2 milestones are stacking up... 22 feet to be exact! The team completed structure qualification testing at NASA JPL on our fully stacked Blue Ghost lander and Elytra Dark orbiter model. After a series of vibration and acoustic tests, this milestone helps prove our spacecraft are equipped to withstand the intense environments they’ll experience during launch and in transit to the Moon. Congrats to the team and thanks JPL for the hospitality at y'alls historic test facility. More on the mission here:

Space used to be one‑and‑done: launch a satellite and make the most of its capabilities. Our Mission Robotic Vehicle (MRV) is like a multi-tool in orbit, inspecting, repairing, upgrading and extending the life of existing spacecraft.

Good news, the new Ariane 64 booster rocket is launched making Europe be at the top of the space race! With this booster each rocket can put in orbit up to 36 satellites, what is excellent and make it competitive versus SpaceX. Europe is there people 🇪🇺

Separation complete: #EarthCARE is alone in space for the first time. The satellite will now automatically deploy its solar array and begin transmitting telemetry. Next up: the all-important ‘acquisition of signal’ from Hartebeesthoek ground station in South Africa in approx. 40 minutes.

Confirmed - SpaceX will attempt to catch the Ship portion of Starship in Flight 14 for the first time, if post data review is green. Subsequently, 14 will also be Starship’s first orbital launch as a Ship catch requires it.
