Our first spacecraft, Ray, has completed its mission on-orbit – serving as an extremely successful testbed for validating key technologies despite not attempting re-entry due to an on-orbit short circuit in a component preventing our deorbit engine from igniting. Throughout 1,600+ orbits around Earth, our team collected invaluable technical data and operational experience. The team completed structure qualification testing at NASA JPL on our fully stacked Blue Ghost lander and Elytra Dark orbiter model. After a series of vibration and acoustic tests, this milestone helps prove our spacecraft are equipped to withstand the intense environments they’ll experience during launch and in transit to the Moon. The "artificial embryos" are stem cell-derived artificial human embryos. The embryos, though not true life forms and unable to develop into human babies, will help simulate the earliest stages of human development. Once the experiments are completed, the artificial embryo samples will be frozen in orbit and then returned to Earth on a future mission for side-by-side analysis with ground-based controls in laboratories on the ground. This effort is part of a broader suite of 41 space science experiments being deployed aboard Tiangong, supporting its latest round of research on the orbiting laboratory.

Utilising the #IAF Chinook helicopter for its airlift and subsequent positioning at a predefined altitude and location, ISRO successfully demonstrated the autonomous landing capability of the Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) 'PUSHPAK' as part of its RLV-LEX 2 mission. Airlifted to an altitude of 4.5 kms, IAF Air Warriors were part of the successful mission. IAF heartily congratulates #ISRO on achieving this milestone.
