Our Blue Ghost Mission 2 milestones are stacking up... 22 feet to be exact! The team completed structure qualification testing at NASA JPL on our fully stacked Blue Ghost lander and Elytra Dark orbiter model. After a series of vibration and acoustic tests, this milestone helps prove our spacecraft are equipped to withstand the intense environments they’ll experience during launch and in transit to the Moon. Congrats to the team and thanks JPL for the hospitality at y'alls historic test facility. More on the mission here:

Separation complete: #EarthCARE is alone in space for the first time. The satellite will now automatically deploy its solar array and begin transmitting telemetry. Next up: the all-important ‘acquisition of signal’ from Hartebeesthoek ground station in South Africa in approx. 40 minutes.

This is unacceptable. Either Minister McGuinty didn't know, which is failure of leadership, or he did know and is lying to Canadians. As Minister of National Defence, he is regularly briefed, and has the ability to get briefed as frequently as he requests. This should be his first priority especially when our troops may be in harms way. It appears that once again the Liberals are changing their stories to cover up their incompetence. I will be holding the Minister to account next week in Parliament.
