Several Cambridge students protested during their graduation ceremonies after it was revealed the university's $5.7bn endowment fund held around $189m in Israel-linked investments. Al Jazeera spoke to two protesters, Gabs and Tallula, about turning graduation into a protest.

Colleges are using AI name readers to announce students' names during graduation ceremonies. Students scan their phones like they're in a checkout line before an AI voice reads their names. PACE University was seen using the technology during its commencement ceremony. "Our names are getting read by AI at graduation ... getting the ick at my own graduation," said one student. "It is AI. We were directly told so! We gave a website spelling and it instantly gave us an audio," said the student. "PACE told us it was AI ... We had to type out phonetic spelling, then it instantly generated audio for us to preview."

But the IDF officer refused to give any extra time and destroyed the Al Jazeera Building in minutes. The punishment was for broadcasting fake news about Israel. Now all the other media channels are careful about the news they are showing about Israel. Hats off to Israel for their no nonsense attitude when it comes to national security, their confidence, their ability to attack with early warning, their technology and the accuracy of their weapons.

"A program named 'Ethiopian University Service' has been prepared," he said, adding that it will allow students to "serve the community in their field of study before graduation." Speaking on April 02, 2025, at the House of People's Representatives' Standing Committee on Human Resource Development, Employment and Technology Affairs, Birhanu linked the program to the country's teacher shortage.
