Today, he says unconditionally recognizing a Palestinian state will “strengthen the moderates” who will somehow overtake Hamas. Sanchez may not be much of a leader, but he would make a great fantasy novelist. Meanwhile, back here on planet Earth, Israel will not stand idly by to appease European idealists while Hamas re-arms and plans the next October 7th. And Spain still doesn’t have nukes.
