The SGPC manager had complained to the police about the yoga practiced in the Golden Temple, and the Amritsar police had registered a case against Archana under Section 295A. Grewal further stated that if Archana truly wants to apologize, she should come to the Darbar Sahib to express her remorse, and God will forgive her.

Sikhs of whole country rejects reprehensible statement made by Chief Minister of Sikkim regarding issue of Gurdwara Sri Guru Dongmar Sahib Chandigarh: Addressing the press today at Chandigarh, the General Secretary of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Bhai Gurcharan Singh Grewal and secretary of Shiromani Akali Dal Gurjeet Singh Talwandi condemned the statement made by the Chief Minister of Sikkim regarding Gurdwara Sri Guru Dongmar Sahib and said that this place is associated with the visit of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, the first Sikh Guru. The case of this Gurdwara Sahib is sub-judice at the High Court of Sikkim and the decision has been reserved by the honorable court. In violation of the honorable court, the Chief Minister of Sikkim said that under no circumstances will Gurdwara Sahib be allowed to be built, which is highly reprehensible and illogical. The SGPC is committed to maintaining this Gurdwara Sahib as per the Sikh Rehat Maryada (Code of Conduct) as it has an association of the visit of Sri Guru Nanak Dev. While the sentiments of the entire Sikh world have been hurt by the statement given by the Chief Minister of Sikkim, there is also a huge resentment in the community. But this isn't just about Suri or an isolated incident. The killer of Suri became a hero in parts of the Sikh community: the SGPC provided him legal aid, his act was celebrated, and he was given the title of "Bhai." This is the real problem—it shows that this kind of mindset and mental illness has acceptance in some sections of society. Nancy Grewal never harmed anyone; it was just her will/expression. Hari Singh Nalwa closed it by won the battles of Multan, Peshawar & Naushera. Earlier, when the Sikh army was not so organized, the Sikhs would sometimes plunder Nadar, sometimes Abdali, and sometimes loot the treasury going from Lahore to Delhi. This was a sign that there was a Kaum in Punjab whose conscience was awakened. That is why no other religion was persecuted, only the Sikhs. The Sikhs' heads were also beheaded because they did not bow before the government.

Why have we suddenly developed sympathy for Rajpal Yadav? He is the same Rajpal Yadav who met ‘prophet’ Bajinder Singh multiple times and promoted the conversion of Sikhs and Hindus to Christianity. Yes, the same Bajinder Singh who was reportedly involved in mass conversions in the Punjab area and was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for raping a woman in 2018. What Saurabh Dwivedi said was inappropriate at that place but that doesnt make Rajpal Yadav innocent. Isn't it true that Rajpal took a loan and didn't pay it back? His cheque bounced and he was convicted in that case!

Head Granthi of Sri Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) Amritsar, Giani Raghbir Singh says that the “holy city” status granted to the three cities must be implemented on the ground. He noted that if Amritsar is to be granted as a holy city, then the sale of bidis, tobacco and meat must be restricted. He welcomed the government’s move if enforced sincerely, and appealed to the sangat to uphold their responsibility, saying it would be a matter of great honour. He added that preserving the sanctity of Amritsar is our collective duty.

Following this, SP (D) Ajay Raj Singh stated that the two policemen seen beating the boy have been suspended. However, he added that Dharampreet had an altercation with the officers and had removed one of the policeman’s turbans. On the other hand, Dharampreet claims that when he was leaving his home, a neighbor’s dog attacked him, and in self-defense, he struck the dog with a sword.
