Denzel Washington’s epic monologue towards the end of Training Day was largely improvised on set. Director Antoine Fuqua was so blown away by his performance, he says he thinks he "forgot to yell cut”. He explains… “That’s Denzel. He was just in his zone. I mean, that was one of those moment...people talk about AI. Those are the moments where you go...it's a great tool. It's gonna be a great tool, I think...but the emotion, and the moment that an actor can bring - you can't predict that. That's something that's just inside of Denzel. And when that came out, I was just like - I hope I got it. I just turned to my operator - who was shaking- I looked over at the guy - I was like, “please tell me you got that.” Because that was the take. That was it. There was no other take - I mean, how do you tell an actor like that, that that wasn't good enough? …He walked over to me, and he just had this look in his eyes. I was like, “you good?” He said, “you good?” I said, “Yeah…” Some of that was in the script, but he flipped it the way he did it. "Putting cases on all you." He kind of added some things in there. And then he just went into a whole other zone with the whole King Kong thing- with Pelican Bay - Denzel started that. That was Denzel. That was him, man. He just kind of lit up, and I think I forgot to yell cut. I was just watching it, because everybody started walking away, and I'm just watching him, and then he lights a cigarette - and he's talking - and I'm just watching him. Steve Jobs on how he learned to run a company: Question: "You're 21. You're a big success. You know, you've just sort of done it by the seat of your pants. You don't have any particular training in this. How do you learn to run a company?" Steve Jobs: "You know, throughout the years in business, I found something, which was that I always ask why you do things. And the answers you invariably get are, oh, that's just the way it's done. Nobody knows why they do what they do. Nobody thinks about things very deeply in business. That's what I found. I'll give you an example. When we were building our Apple I's in the garage, we knew exactly what they cost. When we got into a factory in the Apple II days, the accounting had this notion of a standard cost, where you'd kind of set a standard cost and at the end of a quarter you'd adjust it with a variance. And I kept asking, well, why do we do this? And the answer was, well, that's just the way it's done. And after about six months of digging into this, what I realized was the reason you do it is because you don't really have good enough controls to know how much it costs. So you guess, and then you fix your guess at the end of the quarter. And the reason you don't know how much it costs is because your information systems aren't good enough. But nobody said it that way. And so later on, when we designed this automated factory for Macintosh, we were able to get rid of a lot of these antiquated concepts and know exactly what something cost to the second. So in business, a lot of things are, I call it folklore. They're done because they were done yesterday and the day before. And so what that means is if you're willing to sort of ask a lot of questions and think about things and work really hard, you can learn business pretty fast. It's not the hardest thing in the world. It's not rocket science. It's not rocket science."

Taehyung is the biggest factor that attract new people to BTS, in addition to his amazing talents, Taehyung is extremely genuine, he doesn’t let society dictate his actions. He is unapologetically himself and that’s a man worth following. 👩🏻 I stayed up last night watching interviews of BTS. The more I get to know them, the more I love them. They are unapologetically themselves, and they're so real, and I think that's why they have such a strong fan base. I was watching this one interview with, I think it was Rolling Stone, and in the middle of the interview, V, he was talking about one of the songs, and JM said, Hey, you have snot coming out of your nose. And V just stopped, got some tissue paper, shoved it up his left nostril, and went on with the interview like it was nothing. I love that so much. He did not care. As someone who is also Korean, for most of us, we're raised to be, to be prim and proper in front of people that we don't know. There are certain expectations of you, certain things that you're supposed to say, things that you're not supposed to say. The fact that he just went in with the interview, he did not let that stop him. For most celebrities that would have been in the same situation, what they probably would have done, most likely, is pause the interview, go to the restroom, take care of business, come back, and ask the people to edit that part out. He didn't do that, you guys. And I've already been a big fan of them, and now I'm an even bigger fan. (
