Man this compilation still got me dying. Shane Gillis on Kill Tony is just different. Dude sits there looking like he don’t care about nothing then hits you with the most random shit and the whole panel loses it. That natural chaos he brings, the way he talks to people like they’re already his boys, it’s hard to explain but it just works every time. These moments remind me why I keep coming back to the show. Jacob: Shane was a really tricky character to write and a really tricky character to execute because so much of him is internal. That requires a lot of active listening & a lot of letting your face do the work because Shane doesn't talk a lot and I wasn't gonna make him talk a lot because that's not part of who he is. We had to express a lot of things physically again. I think that Hudson is an incredibly physical actor and it shines through for Shane. You understand what he's feeling every step of the way. YOU TELL HIM!!! He is fucking incredible as our Shane👏 #heatedrivalry

ive talked about this before but this is one of my favourite scenes in the whole show and undoubtedly my favourite performance from hudson its such a shane way of reacting. everything with him is so internalised… until its not. when shane panics he *really* panics. and it’s also very true to the fact that shane is autistic because you can really see him trying to ground himself and cling onto something for support (he’s constantly grabbing either ilya or the window of the furniture throughout the whole scene) and that’s really indicative of sensory overload imo.
