Why no Pixel 8 Pro 🤦🏽‍♂️

It boggles my mind that Google has yet to explain the rationale behind why the 8 Pro or base 8 has been left out of this feature but the 8a is included. It just smells of this being purely arbitrary with no technical limitation behind this decision.

Funny enough, my Pixel 9 Pro XL doesn't see my laptop to share anything.

Our "oldest" Pixel in the family is an 8a, but I find the lack of support for the flagship models to be a bit disturbing. I know it is something about the Wi-Fi chip they have compared to the 8a but it feels like they are get shafted. #GooglePixel. #PixelSuperFans. #TeamPixel.
