Thank you all for standing with us and honoring our statehood and our spirit. But much more must be done to stop this war, to protect this beauty, and to ensure that the history of our Ukrainian shrines continues. More of our Ukrainian shrines deserve to become part of the UNESCO World Heritage List and receive the corresponding attention, protection, and opportunities for restoration. We need more political and sanctions-related work to protect the shrines of our people throughout the entire territory of Ukraine – including Crimea and other parts of our occupied land. Today marks the first visit by a President of Honduras to Ukraine since we regained our independence. It is very important that Ukraine’s partners come here and see with their own eyes what Ukrainians are going through. That is why we are grateful for this visit at this particular moment. We discussed with Nasry Asfura the key directions for the development of our bilateral relations: trade, the agricultural sector, the economy, and digitalization. Honduras is interested in this, and we are ready to help here. Security was also discussed. Today, in military technologies, particularly drones, Ukraine is among the strongest in the world. I’m heading to Washington DC today to engage with economic ministers at meetings of the G20 and the IMF and World Bank. My five areas of focus will be joining with other countries in continuing to call for an enduring ceasefire and an end to the conflict, working with partners to amplify our efforts to help secure Australia’s fuel supplies, strengthening our supply chains, calibrating our Budget forecasts with expectations, forecasts and developments in the world economy, and promoting us as an investment destination.
