Look at this reel allegedly posted by an accused while under police custody, handcuffed and travelling in a police vehicle. If this video is genuine, it raises serious questions: > How did a person in custody access a phone? > Why was filming allowed inside a police vehicle? > Were custodial protocols being followed? > What message does this send to victims and the public? The criminal justice system is not just about punishment… it is also about deterrence. When accused individuals can project an image of confidence, influence, or even celebrity status from custody, the deterrent effect of law is weakened. Crime rises not only because criminals exist, but because accountability appears uncertain. The rule of law must not only be enforced; it must be seen to be enforced. If this video is authentic, the authorities should investigate how it happened and fix the loopholes immediately.
