everyone complaining about max taking her time again you completely missed the whole plot. the exit back to the real world was in the cave where vecna won’t go into. so he wasn’t a threat at that moment. on top of that, she knew the music stopping wasn’t an issue, because all she needed was lucas. she also wasn’t leaving without getting holly out too. she needed to give holly the strength to find her exit. this moment WAS IMPORTANT
