Dear @wnba your players are not exempt from assault charges just because they're on a basketball court. The game videos are primary evidence of abuse, and potentially hate crimes. Basketball has written rules that your refs are turning a blind eye to, and you are turning a blind eye to their unequal enforcement. Civil rights don't end at the gym or arena door.

Why do we still have the WNBA? It’s not like it’s profitable or serves a purpose.

I remember playing a scrimmage game against a rival elementary team back when I was I think ten years old. They didn't have enough boys to play all our teams so we had to play a senior girls team. The most terrifying thing I experienced as a kid. It was all nails, hair pulling and scratching. One of my teammates almost got his eye gouged out. They would swarm whoever had the ball and so we passed ALOT lol.

I mean if basketball is going to be a full contact sport this might get interesting. I remember when Charles Barkley and Cedric Ceballos would get tossed for throwing elbows just to keep people away.....
