THE 1 JUROR ASSERTED HIS BELIEF OF REASONABLE DOUBT, AND THE THE 11 BELIEVED THEIR RESONABLE DOUBT. THIS IS HOW ITS SUPPOSED TO WORK. DO I BELIEVE OUTSIDE INFLUENCES PROBABLY SWAYED THIS JURY, YES .

This is true, and it's also true that too many people aren't acknowledging the difference between the Lindsay Clancy case and the Lindsay Clancy trial. During the trial, the Commonwealth (inadvertently) provided reasonable doubt through its own choice of how to present the case and through its own witnesses providing solid testimony that helped the defense. These witnesses included Patrick, his father, the family nanny, pediatrician, preschool teacher, colleagues, and even the state's own experts.
