No ADHD person is ever going to know it because the video is long and she’s rambling on and I had to stop watching it like 50 seconds in

ADHD is a neurological disability that affects the executive functions. 1. No cure but management 2. Executive functions are affected due to multiple factors. 3. A neurological disability is not laziness 4. Stop giving clout, views, engagement to people who are not DO or MDS

The key is to trust yourself to do things that feel right and rewarding.

She doesn’t say anything relevant. I guess it’s a fine message for someone just realizing what ADHD is, but the game is much much deeper than that.

She just explained to me a few things about myself. Specifically, how I can - at the same time - be 1) completely unable to do things I am not interested into and 2) relentlessly pursue those things I am very much into, no matter the hurdles.

So true. You also need to know which hacks will get the monkey mind in focus mode. I have a selection of shows, podcasts, and music playlists that set the tone for various tasks, and if I'm struggling to get into the flow, I'll have to put them on to lock-in. I also think that sometimes our brain works faster than other people. In my case, I need super high BPM techno to really dig in and focus, where that would be a distraction to anyone else. I also find that high bpm trance will help me to sleep if my mind won't stop. It's like the responsible, executive, adult part of my mind has to sit the curious, daydreaming, childlike monkey-mind down in front of it's favorite show in order to allow parental mind to get to work.

It's simpler then that don't tell us it's due in a week say half an hour we will do it and do it well, Why we don't study cram for 2min before test and ace it. Never clean but some1 says they be there in 20min what takes some all day, To us house spotless before they arrive.

I can never do two things at once, and I'd start something, stop, move on to the next thing, stop, and do something else to the point where I have several things not completed and half done. Things I like, easy breezy, the thing I have to do becomes a challenge.
