This employee got a call about a DoorDash order that was already delivered. The customer ordered a steak and cheese, a meatball, and a pepperoni and salami sandwich. When another employee made it, the store was out of steak and mayo so she just made another meatball sandwich without consulting with the customer first. The customer is upset and says that if they were out of steak then they should have called and let her know so she could get something else instead of having the decision made for her. The employee defended the other employee and claims they aren’t allowed to call the customer and that the situation was appropriate. When the customer gets mad she then tells her to come down to the store as if to provoke a confrontation. Was the customer wrong for ordering from a third party site that doesn’t show their inventory in real time or should the employee have let the door dasher know so they could call the customer?

Third party sellers are beginning to feel the pinch from Amazon scams. People are purchasing items on Amazon, then they request a refund and make up some excuse as why they want their money back. What they do is, they send an old item back because they don’t think anyone really checks the returns, and they end up keeping the item that was sent to them. Essentially they are getting it for free because they got it refunded. What they don’t know is many of the items being purchased on Amazon, aren’t from Amazon, but from third party small business’s like this woman. Should Amazon start paying attention to what’s being sent back and only issue the refunds once the return has been verified, and should these people who do this be banned from buying from these online stores like Amazon?

REFUND OR JAIL 😂👟 Jail it is… A simple return is not possible with some…this situation turned into a full-blown episode of “I WANT MY MONEY OR CHAOS.” This lady storms into the shoe store already heated. No receipt energy. No patience. Just vibes and volume. Customer service tries to calmly explain, “Ma’am…your account is under investigation for previous…let’s call it ‘creative returns.’” Police show up. They’re calm. She is…not. That’s when she flips the switch. “GET OUTTA MY FACE!” “YA’LL AXING TOO MANY QUESTIONS!” Now she pacing, pointing, and performing like it’s a one woman show. Employees are still trying to help, but she’s locked in on one goal: REFUND OR NOTHING. Eventually she hits the classic exit line… “F… THIS STORE!” Storms out…only to walk straight into another store like the sequel nobody asked for. A woman and her husband went to the store to get an Apple gift card for $100. After they got it, they had tried to use it for their iPhone. The opened the package and got the card out, the last few digits on the back of the card are missing and she couldn’t use it. She goes back to the store and speaks to customer service about a refund. Customer service claims they can’t do anything about it because there are no refunds on gift cards and they need to call the company the card is for. She then pulls a few of the same cards off of the display and opens them in front of customer service and proves to them that they all have the same issue. This does look like the card was manufactured defectively and the customer service rep acknowledged it, but why are they leaving it on the shelf for other people to buy it and be ripped off?

This woman instead of giving her daughter money for a frozen treat, she goes to the establishment and prepays for it so she her daughter gets there she can just pick it up and it’s paid for, sounds normal enough. But then a shift change happens, the people who were paid for the treat went home and a set of new faces that are oblivious to the arrangement are now working. When the daughter gets there to get her treat, she is met with confusion and dismay as nobody is aware of the arrangement. The woman comes back and the workers calmly give her a refund. She then walks away and comes back and curses at them in which they tell her never to come back. Obviously this is a huge misunderstanding but I don’t think the store handled the arrangement well, do you?

I just walked into CVS in D.C. and you have to ask an employee to unlock the door if you want to buy garbage bags and paper towels I asked why? “People steal.” The employee then explained that in D.C. they don’t hold criminals so they have organized rings who steal then hand it to others to resell it. This happened in Monroe, Louisiana. A man rolls up on his E- bike at Lowe’s store in outside garden. He grabs something (I don’t know what it is) and he’s getting ready to take off. Just another day in Monroe. This gentleman walks up and says something to him, probably to the tune of like why are you stealing? The guy on the bike seems to get upset. The man turns and walks away. I like how the other guy passes by, looks over and just keeps on walking. 🙄 Many people said they don’t understand why people would put themselves in harms way over a Fortune 500 company, they aren’t struggling they said and they have insurance. And others said they understood because of this economy and the times we are in. 😳 But a lot of others said this is one of the reasons our prices keep going up and it is not okay to justify stealing because of the economy. A Lowe’s employee said there is so much theft that it affects their livelihood, it affects their bonuses. What do you think? Is it worth confronting someone if you notice they are stealing from a store? Or should you just mind your own business and keep on walking?
