This movie is about a successful thief called Diabolik and his quest to steal a pink diamond. He uses a bunch of Mission impossible style masks, to impersonate different people during the heist. It’s set in the 1960s. SPOILER@@@ The girl Eva is initially his target because she has the diamond but eventually becomes his love. In the scene that gets cut off, she begs her boyfriend who is actually extorting her into allowing her to meet with the thief in the prison. He agrees, and it cuts off a chain of events for them to escape.
