My god. I cannot begin to imagine have contractions every 4-8minutes for 34 days!! That is absolutely horrific, and she has every right to refer to this experience as trauma. When you don’t know how long severe pain is going to last, you are terrified, anxious, often thoughts of suicide creep in the longer it goes on for, and this poor woman had no end it sight for 34 days. This shouldn’t be happening. Politics has no place in healthcare decisions that should be being made by medical professionals based on what needs to happen at the time for BOTH mother and foetus.

This is how abortion laws seep into everything to do with pregnancy. I hope she will be ok.💔

She could have lost that baby at any time. They’re awful for doing that to her

That was ***absolutely*** trauma. She has ALL THE RIGHTS to use that to describe it. I bet she has PTSD from it. I have it for different reasons. I know what makes it and what it looks like. Gawd. I'm crying for her now. Yes. VOTE.

The forced birthers will just try to shut her down and shut her up by telling her she should just be grateful for a healthy baby...because they don't care about women and their suffering at all.

When I had my first child in Texas in 2008, they induced me at 37 weeks because I was a 4 and the doctor was going on vacation. My how things have changed.

There are therapies that would’ve relaxed her uterus — to prevent late-preterm labor (fetus wasn’t mature), as well as promote maternal comfort. My first pregnancy, I had painful, intermittent contractions and mild cervical changes at just 28 weeks! I was put on progesterone suppositories and an oral tocolytic until about 38 weeks. Then, I had to be induced at 39.7 weeks! The meds worked too well! 🙃 There might be more to this story, but I’m concerned that it doesn’t *sound like* all options were explored.

12 hour labor here after 9 months of pure hell. Pregnancy nearly killed me... And it isn't a drop in the bucket to this story of fear, pain, and trauma. She's right folks. Vote as if you are this woman, or know her as family. One day something like this could happen to you.

“It’s not good for babies to be born early” ok well how much morphine is good for a fetus over the course of a month?
