Olare is a mother! Earlier this week, our beautiful ex-orphan returned to Ithumba and proudly introduced us to her equally beautiful baby girl, who we have named Ola. Olare was orphaned at a tender young age, but despite the heartbreak she faced, she never let her past define her. She has an enormous heart and has always been an exceptional nanny, first at the Nursery, then at our Ithumba Reintegration Unit, and later to her friends’ wild-born babies. I recently watched Madonna in an interview where she said she really wanted this gig, and I don’t blame her—who wouldn’t? But I wish she hadn’t. Madonna has always delivered HIGH energy and wowed crowds. She set the standard for CREATIVITY for decades. Yesterday’s performance WAS NOT IT. It was LOW ENERGY and seemed CLUMSY. Maybe she’s recovering from something, but it shows. I want to see her at her BEST and BADASS again.

Charlotte said, hold my beer and gave a performance so exceptional, it made their excuses sound more stupid than it has always been. 💝UPDATE ON HOPE 💝 Good news for Hope today ❤️‍🩹 Our gorgeous brave girl had a good night, and today, we have a little more energy and a waggy tail 🥰 She ate this morning for the first time and is definitely a little brighter. She is full of worms and has been throwing up bits of wood, plastic, and material that she has been eating - poor girl was just trying to survive. She is still being monitored, but I know she is feeling all the love we have for her already and will fight ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 Thank you so much to everyone for helping us save her. The response to her appeal has been amazing, and we really appreciate everyone’s support 💝

This has always confused me. She tributes to Her dad about never giving up on her and her mom for being her strength in her high school yearbook post. But yet she always says her dad left her after the divorce and her she never had a strong female figure. She said her grandmother on her deathbed asked her to forgive her mom. She said her grandfather was the only male in her life. And she was kicked out at 14. Had to live with a boyfriend and pay for herself. So is she lying about her childhood? Why didn’t she say thank you to her grandfather she says raised her and taught her everything about being who she is? Does it seem weird to you or am I just being a Candace and reading too much into this? How does she say it? It’s not sending me the right vibes.
