Sheikh Othman Al-Khamis, when he said that Hamas is a deviant and misguided movement, did not say that out of ignorance. The man had previously spoken about their suspension of Sharia and their killing of Sheikh Abdul Latif Musa in Ibn Taymiyyah Mosque because he wanted to implement the...

I'm not defending Hamas, but what happened at Masjid Ibn Taymiyyah was an unfortunate misunderstanding. AQ killed the Messenger from Hamas, who they thought was a spie, and tensions escalated since then. Although Sheikh Abdul Latif wasn't wrong to push them to apply the Sharia.

This request is quite peculiar, similar to the objections of the Ash'arites to Ibn Taymiyyah! In any case, Ibn Taymiyyah would respond to you just as he did to your deviant predecessors: He said: "The books of Sahih, Sunan, and Musnad collections contain the hadiths of attributes. In fact, they have chapters such as 'The Book of Monotheism and Refutation of the Zindiqs and Jahmites,' which is the last book in Sahih al-Bukhari. Similarly, there is a book on refuting Jahmites in Sunan Abu Dawood and the 'Book of Attributes' in Sunan al-Nasa’i... [Then he listed many other books until saying:] ... and many more, countless except by Allah. Did the Imams prevent these hadiths from being read to the general believers? Or did they forbid it? Or have these books not been read to thousands of the laypeople of believers, both in the past and present?" (Al-Tis'iniyah, page 148) (Note his words: Thousands of laypeople of the believers attended these readings.) Plus, well-known story is about Imam Al-Mizzi, whom the Ash’arites imprisoned for reading the book Khalq Af’al al-Ibad by Al-Bukhari in the mosque. The Ash’arites assumed he was targeting them with the hadiths refuting the Jahmites! This story was narrated by Ibn Hajar in Al-Durar al-Kaminah (6/230) and Ibn Abd al-Hadi in Al-Uqud al-Durriya (1/220). Additionally, Ibn Taymiyyah himself, his students, and those influenced by them, such as the Najdi Da’wah Imams, frequently referenced these books and their authors. This is evident to anyone who explores their works, but ignorance obscures such clarity. Many contemporary Salafi scholars also reference and recommend the early scholars’ works as I mentioned earlier. Their lectures and recordings are available, but I will attach again Tarifi speach. As for your question about the division of Tawheed, it made me laugh! I laughed because we’re accustomed to heretics asking us: “Who preceded Ibn Taymiyyah in dividing Tawheed?” And now you’re asking me, “Who preceded Ibn Abd al-Wahhab in this?! And is it mentioned in the works of the Salaf?!” In any case, this division was neither invented by Ibn Taymiyyah nor Ibn Abd al-Wahhab. Rather, it was pointed out by various scholars. Some even claim Abu Hanifa and his two students were the first to hint at it. However, let me quote Imam Ibn Battah (d. 387 AH) in Al-Ibanah al-Kubra, where he explicitly mentions the three categories: He said: "Faith in Allah, which the creation must hold, is based on three principles: 1. That the servant believes in His existence to oppose the view of the people of Ta'teel (negators) who deny a Creator. [This refers to Tawheed al-Rububiyyah]. 2. That he believes in His Oneness, to oppose the views of the polytheists who affirm a Creator but associate partners with Him in worship. [This refers to Tawheed al-Uluhiyyah]. 3. That he believes in Him being described with attributes befitting Him—such as knowledge, power, wisdom, and all other attributes He has described Himself with in His Book. [This refers to Tawheed al-Asma wa al-Sifat]." He continued: "For we know that many who affirm and declare His Tawhid verbally end up deviating in His attributes. Their deviation in His attributes undermines their Tawhid. Moreover, Allah addressed His servants, calling them to affirm each of these three principles and believe in them." (Al-Ibanah al-Kubra, Book of Refutation of Jahmites, page 173)
