The County Administrator already included funding in the proposed budget to fund school resource officers in elementary schools, something Briskman opposes as do most Democrats on the school board like April Chandler and Anne Donohue. On Thursday at 5:15 pm, the Loudoun County School Board is holding a special meeting and is expected to vote on the Sheriff’s proposal to add school resource officers in all elementary schools. Right now, the Democrat majority on the school board is expected to formally oppose the SRO proposal. We’ll keep you updated.
