To me, it depends heavily on context. What language/accent is the rest of your sentence in and who are you saying it to. Communication is about being understood not about being perfectly correct according to the rules.

as a French person (who studied linguistics), pronounce it the English way when speaking English lol. most languages butcher foreign words to make it easier to pronounce. it's just normal
