I went to a supermarket in USA and I found methi, haldi and Ashwagandha being sold as "superfoods" at unbelievable prices. India was historically called the land of spices, yet many parents have ditched Indian spices and have started using maggi masala in their cooking. Hopefully one day, we Indians will realize that some of the food that we buy for less than Rs. 100 is being sold for several thousands of rupees abroad as "superfoods", maybe we would value it a bit more.
