The Bad Buildings Operation continues today at 139 Bloed Street, where we discovered 43 rooms being rented out for between R1 200 and R1 800. Although these illegal structures were demolished in 2021 they have unfortunately been rebuilt. This is a privately owned property, and a contravention notice has been issued. Upon investigation we discovered an illegal connection of water and electricity. We are disconnecting with immediately effect. City of Tshwane

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has officially deployed a sanitation enforcement task force, popularly known as “Saman Saman” or “Tankas,” across the metropolis to intensify the enforcement of sanitation regulations. As part of the exercise, sanitation officers inspected communities, engaged residents, and arrested individuals who allegedly failed to comply with the Assembly’s sanitation by-laws. The suspects were subsequently processed at the Prempeh Assembly Hall District Court.
