Maybe my take on this will be seen as weak or naive by some native Japanese people, but I strongly believe we all need to stay with the facts and not assume who did it. Not gonna lie, my first reaction was probably the same as many Japanese people. But suspicion is not a solution. Protection is. And if the culprit is confirmed, then sure, go all in on them.
