Should scientists publically talk about climate tipping point risks? Or rather keep quiet about them and stick to climate impacts we know for certain? What do you think? Here's my answer at the New York Times panel event. #TippingPoints #ClimateWeekNYC #climate

This is the kind of tipping point we are talking about.

Thanks Prof, for being one of few voices of reason these days.

Eines der Hauptprobleme ist d. Schweigsamkeit d.
YES

You underestimate & under-report, yet again….ffs

Here we see the last 8 years projected into the future. That's what I think.

I do not think you are clear enough We all should be talking about tipping points!!!! I think it is fair to say many points are already tipping and so we need to try to not tip all the tipping points Going to be hot house earth Question is how Much nature can survive # Humans?

@AnnieLeymarie 💯

Please do so! As long as everyone thinks knowing the word "climate change" is sufficient we do have a knowledge issue, not only an action issue. People need to see their individual threat before we can achieve support for real change.

Haven’t you realised that the public doesn’t give two hoots about what scientists speak of, tipping points or climate impacts.
