No, it was the correct decision. Two Kerry players enter the square before the ball enters which is the ladies rule from set plays. Doesn't matter if the ball was touched. Tough way to lose of course, but more so on the lack of advantage before the free.

Nope. But it won't stop a lot of clueless people saying it should.

Mistake by referee was not allowing kerry point and bringing it back for free.

But don't you have to play the ball if in a square ball situation. Galway fell over themselves and the ball went in the net

No square ball was the correct decision, although it looks like the players didn't know the rule as most of the spectators me included didnt

Spirit of law sugests no interference in play in square, being black and white square ball, harsh to not get advantage before free too

Correct decision. 100% a square ball. From a set play you cannot be in the square before the ball.

No ,in the square and her presence pushes Galway players in on top of each other impeding the keeper. Ironically if she just stayed out it may have gone in anyway

Of course it shouldn't have stood. She was in the square way before the ball. Not even a question.

People's interpretation of the rule is moronic. The crowd that say it was a square ball would also have to contend that if the ball dropped over the bar, it should also be disallowed because someone was in the square. Nonsense
