Should this dad feel guilty?

Has both parents there to help and still couldn’t handle 5 days….what the hell.

Married 26 years, 2 in college. Easy, you build up equity with your wife and go on trip. She should want you to go

No guilt tell her welcome to life been waiting for u to catch up. Everyone has stress it's 1 damn kid yell her to suck it up

Because it’s work involved you go on the trip. If that baby is such a terror at 5 months, that it needs 3 people to watch it, most definitely take the trip. Because you’ve created a monster and your next 18 years are going to be miserable

Hell nah. I’ve got 4 kids. 17, 12, 4, 1. My wife would hold that house down by herself no problem. Her mom is 13 hours away and mine is 2 hours away. She wouldn’t even call for help. She went to Florida for a girls trip a month ago and I held it down. It’s ok to be a parent.

You have 1 child. Learn how to be an adult

I got 3 kids and have to do this all the time. Grow up and also don’t have any other kids cuz you’re obviously not cut out for it

Go. The Dad is useless to a 5 month old, especially w 2 grandmas available. Help your wife stage for the trip. Prep the grandma's. Get supplies ready to be pulled. Give your wife time to pump & do her own mental health things/breaks before (and after) the trip. You’re good. Go.
