NO! The NFL has to tell refs to take intent into account. So clear that it was just a miscommunication and this isn’t in the spirit of the rule…

This sets a new precedent. There was no imminent loss of yardage while the receiver clearly broke off the route. Those that think this was grounding don't know the rule.

There was no real immediate pressure on Allen either. It was clearly a route that the receiver cut off because the corner had over the top leverage and Allen wanted the fade
