Strongly agree. Over 50% of the voters haven’t got a clue what they are voting for, what economy is or even why they are voting. In Canada, women voted for Trudeau only because they found him attractive.

remove the 'no child left behind act' first and require grown adults to pass real highschool first without the 'push them further' anyways. Real citizenship needs to be for those able to make educated decisions not just emotional pleas.

I think there should be a new amendment. Any candidate running for office or any citizen voting must take and pass an IQ, EQ, and civic test.. oh and speak English

You should have to answer some questions from the citizenship test and show identification to get a ballot.

Most of the population can't even read let alone comprehend the economy, world politics, and where present day decisions will land us in 5-10-50 years down the line. No I don't want everyone to have the right to vote, idiots ruin a country at the voting booth.

We should. Minimum requirement should be being a net positive tax payer. Then see where to go from there.

I've been saying since I was 15 that voting age along with a lot of other things should move up to 21.

A teacher in middle school did this to us. "Who here would vote to end woman's suffrage?" *everyone raises hand* "You all just voted to abolish a woman's right to vote".

I believe that having passed a Constitutional Literacy Test should be mandatory at ANY age to vote or run for political office or become a police officer or member of the armed services.
