Should we rebuild T3 Code in Swift? I have a Codex reset that expires tomorrow so I threw gpt-5.6-sol ultra at it. It did surprisingly well. Only took about 20% of my weekly limit!

Fixed in latest as soon as Apple approves it 😭

looks better maybe, can we also get better client side caching for chats? it disconnects and needs to refetch the whole chat when it could probably just fetch a delta

If you do end up shipping this I would love to see a video of you breaking this down. I'm particularly interested in the differences you can find by going fully native and your point in view in whether this was worth the effort/tokens. I'm currently trying to make an app fully native and this would be a great thing to learn from your experience

Do you think you can do it in one-shot prompt?

Have you considered Flutter? One codebase for macOS, iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, and the web. Good Flutter developers used to be hard to find. With agents, that’s no longer a problem. I’m not a Flutter developer, and I’ve still ported several apps flawlessly.

Flutter would be a great choice if my goal was to make a really shitty app

Pretty cool but can we get some clarity on using the nightly releases with mobile first. Is completely broken since I installed both of today’s nightly releases…

no, solely because you already have users on the RN build and even with AI, splitbraining a RN and native app to support android and ios is not a good idea.

What is your current sub? I wonder how much it would spend from the $20 sub.

I’d wager that swift code is not cheap even in the age of AI - having to go thru apples release cycle itself is a massive pain, you cant iterate as fast as your desktop can and you have to maintain back compat windows Having a small native piece that does SOME ui and everything else shared is the ultimate way

yes I support. only thing is maybe get a mac mini and offload the builds to that device. i absolutely hate using xcode on my own computer.

Don’t see a huge gain and it wouldn’t be as easily multi platform honestly. There are multi platform arches like kotlin that may make more sense although I very well may be talking out my ass there as I have no experience with it myself

With separate codebases between Android and iOS, I'd be nervous you would forget about the Android bugs (like how on a new chat, the keyboard blocks the bottom bar and full message).
