@Ginkgo Haha, I think they published it so people could work on it :D I do think we might be able to do faster info exchange in science in the AI era. The rate of information exchange of traditional papers feels a bit off with the how easily AI tools can incorporate new info.

@Ginkgo Calling it a gene editor is a huge stretch. Nonetheless, the most basic tests would be to make the protein (cell-free) and then test it for polymerase activity (primer extension assay). If it passes that bar, see if the array locus does anything in the presence of the RT.
