Show me a more iconic fourth wall break, I'll wait 💁‍♂️⌚

Duck Amuck is so good that it's in the national library of congress. You know it's a big deal when a cartoon gets preserved.

I'm glad I was a child when we had cartoons like this. Classic.

Not more iconic than this one. Just something I think about when people talk about cartoons breaking the fourth wall.

Absolute cinema, one of my favorite childhood memories.

I can't find a gif, but in the 1950 Popeye short "How Green is My Spinach" a kid in the real world theater audience gets a can of spinach from his backpack and throws it into the cartoon movie screen where Popeye catches it.

What a frame for my wifi to die on lol

This scene lives in my head. Bugs Bunny tells the red monster the people are watching and points to the audience. Monster says “people?, people?!” and runs off screaming.

Big Chungus

Foundational to my sense of humor and how I see the world

I loved this one, I hated the fact they remade it w/ Buggs because they literally went beat for beat

this episode got more laughs at the daycare where i went more than any other cartoon they showed and they showed a lot..

“This is a closeup?” Hilarious, still makes me laugh.

I LOVE Daffy!

"This is a close-up?"

I’ve referred to this many times in life as “currently me”.

🤣🤣🤣😂😁😄😃

i still love this short

The animator mishap would later be committed on Bugs Bunny by Elmer Fudd in another cartoon.

The fact animators even came up with those images is Daffy only make this more amazing.

One of my favorites! I raised my girls on original Looney Toons. Ain’t I a stinker?

That era of cartoons was the best ever.

One of the greats!!!

Good times.

Fabulous!

Loved daffy and bugs

Oh so Daffy!
