@unitedzin0 They are trying to sneak in the ad in the name of hydration break

@unitedzin0 It just The Americanism.. Turning football to NFL .. where add goes up every break. Yes it hot but all the stadium so far in the USA are cover and have air conditioning... so ?.. it just a plan for commercials..

Hydration break is needed but not in all the games, you can’t use how the temperature or weather is for us to judge for every player coming from different regions of the world whether they are professionals or not. These broadcasting channel just needs to know how to manage the advertisements better.

Absolute monetization mehn; USA no dey sleep when it comes to hustle It probably started out as just a few matches, played in the afternoon heat. Then they couldn’t decide which ones, so they made it official for every match Next step: the televised contracts now came with their “what to do in that free time? When they could have been doing “kiss cam” or “celebrity lookalike” like they do at football and hockey games throughout N/America, instead they decided to auction the ad spaces out; to the highest bidder of course The perfect example of how “time is money”

@unitedzin0 Hydration break isn’t about ads it’s about the safety of the players.. it’s much hotter in US than Europe

@unitedzin0 Bring back the old school football only break at half time or some gets injured but hydration break,then half time interviews?

@unitedzin0 The Americanisation of the World Cup is painful to watch. Ads everywhere. Stadiums lacking atmosphere. Hydration breaks turning football into a TV product. The cameras find more empty seats than passionate supporters. The World Cup should belong to fans, not sponsors.

@unitedzin0 calling it a hydration break is gay. soccer is already fruity enough with the players falling all over the pitch and crying for momma all game.

@unitedzin0 This Van Dijk go sabi cause problem “I think I have said enough already” and he nor dey miss the line 😅

@unitedzin0 I’m sure if we looked into it, FIFA would get a % of commercial payments. They’ll have a slice of everything. Why else would they give the World Cup to 3 large populations at once!

@unitedzin0 Bro, it’s sincerely hot. Maybe games in the evening doesn’t really need it. But games in the noon and late afternoon, abeg dem need am.

@unitedzin0 They're making money off those ads and its just crazy they're ruining the game and the tempo.

@unitedzin0 If they had won the game he wouldn’t have made this complaint Loser

@unitedzin0 Until you guys come to the realization it’s s as business and make peace with it, we still be having these convos! The game is a financial juggernaut worldwide and that comes at a cost. Best we accept the reality and save ourselves from some unnecessary headache 🤷🏾♂️

@unitedzin0 The US World Cup will go down as the most chaotic and worst world cup ever

@unitedzin0 Na country Wey no get level go collect this year World Cup

@unitedzin0 That’s why I switched from fox to Telemundo. Commentary is in Spanish but I manage to enjoy it. No adverts on hydration breaks. That thing really dey bore me.

@unitedzin0 Welcome to the united states of America. That’s how they make money

@unitedzin0 USA thinks this is beisball, basketball or american football, where pauses are like every 15mins.. 😓

@unitedzin0 Hydration break is nothing but a way of generating more revenue for FIFA and the host countries. Break = More Ads = $$$$

@unitedzin0 America + Fifa = Greed Pro Max

@unitedzin0 Same rules for everyone game. Yes the weather is hot just not all stadiums. Yes there’s commercials. Commercials from sponsors who paid for the event. How do you think these games happen? Who pays for it all? This isn’t just from ticket sales.

@unitedzin0 Only problem I got with it , is they need to stop the time doing the break

@unitedzin0 We thank America for that

@unitedzin0 Slide to Telemundo

@unitedzin0 I turn off the TV during hydration breaks. This is the only way lovers of football can push back against FIFA's greed and American corruption/redifinition of football.

@unitedzin0 Wetin you Dey talk Locally be like full pitch? Even locally if you get the mind enter Ilorin sun around 12pm and go play ball if you will last 30min sef

@unitedzin0 Everything about America is different

@unitedzin0 Only English television shows ads. If you watch it in Spanish they don’t have ads

@unitedzin0 Yup. It's monetized because FIFA monetized it. You cannot insist on broadcasters paying hundreds of millions and not expect them to insist, in return, on having a way to recoup that money.

@unitedzin0 Ads baby

@unitedzin0 Lol it’s the weather conditions bro. It’s over a 100 degrees in some places in the US. E say E no sure 🤣

@unitedzin0 Americans ruin everything

@unitedzin0 Doesn’t happen here in the uk… so fuck everyone else

@unitedzin0 Same breaks, more ads – coincidence? Nah.
