It's a strange issue, because I feel like most ordinary players don't experience these problems. It's very much a big streamer problem. That's not to say it isn't an issue. It should absolutely be addressed somehow, but I certainly don't want prospective players to be turned off when they hear their favorite streamer saying it's full of hackers.

Most people won’t get it because they don’t play in these top aggressive lobbies. Well I do, and I play off stream, and at least half the lobbie players have VAC bans/previous game bans on record, private accounts, or fresh steam accounts. It’s pretty bad, just look at apex as well 1/3 of the lobby was proven to be cheating a few months ago. It’s very easy to cheat and for an anonymous person there’s near zero repercussions. If they don’t get control of the cheaters the game will suffer.

It seems bigger streamers are having this problems sooner or later in every game they play. Streamsniping and Cheating targetted specifically on them. ARC Raiders is by no means "full of cheaters" and "50% of each lobby is cheating" is not a thing for ~99% of the players.

If you turn a game into a job and play it 8hrs a day 5-7 days a week. Then you will run into more hackers than most players. If you stream that experience you get even more. That's not something Embark can easily fix in a way that would change those issues.

Yeah, 99.99% of us aren’t streamers who are on the game 24/7 and getting matched in those overly aggressive PvP lobbies where there’s a higher likelihood of cheating. I PvP almost every game but still get put in fairly reasonable lobbies

Cheating - totally get, should be fixed Stream sniping - cry more? You’re broadcasting to the world on your positions and you don’t think people will use that to their advantage? Plus nothing about it in the ToS

Might be a hot take, but i think all cheaters are in ultra aggressive lobbies, right? so it makes sense that someone like shroud, who just kills people, encounters them all the time. i am doing everything, pvp, rp stuff and just talking. i saw 2? cheaters in 200 hours

damn havent ran into a cheater in weeks. seems like shroud just runs into cheaters every game huh. every single match has a cheater according to him now. god shroud has genuinely become so insufferable the last three months

The only people running into this are the people who have zero intentions of playing the actual game. Which would be STREAMERS! All of you have run away from Warzone and whatever other Battle Royal you came from, and have actively tried to make AR into one. You reap what you sow

I’ve never experienced a single instance where I thought someone was cheating and I probably have 40 hours or so in it. Granted I only play ps5 crossplay off, so…

We love the game when we can dominate it but hate the game when we can’t.

stella montis last night. these players were in the walls in the top section of the lobby shooting through the ceiling. proper wall glitching. one died and the other 2 managed to escape and extract

streamers primary goal is PvP, and when paired with aggression based matchmaking obviously the cheaters that have nothing to do but to PvP get paired with streamers that prioritize PvP. frustration makes sense but prostrating like a toddler doesn’t help anyone

Look I’m just gunna say it but y’all know how they put aggressive players against each other? Does that not apply to cheaters 🤷‍♂️? Till this day I’ve never seen a cheater on arc raiders & I play with PC people. So like it’s just a theory idk man

its SBMM, shroud is probably at the top of chain and guess who would be a the top of the chain; casual players won't face them

I think players with VAC bans or multiple game ban records should be prevented from playing arc raiders

I’m a streamer, but this is toxic shit is the reason streamers ruin gaming. Like these game developers have to cater to their bullshit to keep up appearances. I hope they fix the cheating, but damn man. Go outside.
