The short-term government shutdown debate is a joke: Everyone gets backpay. Everything goes back to normal, with a little more funding and a slightly bigger government. The administrative state wins every time. We should be talking about how to *achieve* a real government shutdown. We see the same theatrics every few months because the GOP refuses to do what I’ve pledged to accomplish: *shut down* the administrative state for good. 🇺🇸
