Perfect way to waste space and make streets terrible for pedestrians. Like an obstacle course. Opposite sides of the steet don't "see" each other.

As a cyclist I seriously hate trams! I don't how many accidents I have had with tram tracks. Don't tell me you are supposed to hit the tracks perpendicularly, I know but in traffic especially with dumb mindless tourists around or in darkness it doesn't always work out
